Halloween: The Game Characters — Confirmed Roster

Halloween: The Game's Standard Edition includes ten playable Civilians alongside the Michael Myers role. Richard and Alexis are two additional exclusive Digital Deluxe Civilians; they should not be confused with extra costumes for the Standard roster.

The official legacy-character announcement names the ten Standard Civilians. The digital pre-order FAQ identifies the two Deluxe additions.

The first-name roster comes from the legacy announcement. The fuller names and backgrounds for Jennifer, Tanya, Rachel, Marcus and Thomas are described in The Heroes of Haddonfield. Background descriptions are not substitutes for numerical gameplay attributes.

Michael Myers is a separate playable side

Michael Myers is the lone hunter in the announced 1v4 format. The four opposing player slots are Civilians, not four additional killers. NPC residents also inhabit the town, so the world population should not be confused with the number of player slots.

Michael uses stalking and darkness-related systems while Civilians work to rescue residents and survive. The multiplayer gameplay overview describes that asymmetry and the way residents and police affect a match.

Richard and Alexis: Deluxe availability

Richard and Alexis are confirmed exclusive playable Civilians in Digital Deluxe. The pre-order FAQ also announces a Deluxe upgrade at launch that includes the two characters. It does not provide a separate individual-character price.

We are not assigning Alexis or Richard invented abilities, a build or a place in a tier list. Their edition availability can be answered here, but that single fact does not yet justify separate character-detail pages. Costumes do not add roster slots

Final Girl is a Laurie Strode cosmetic. Inmate and Phantom are Michael Myers skins. Counting these as separate playable characters would inflate the roster and misrepresent what the purchase pages say.

The legacy-character announcement also describes alternate iconic looks unlocked through singleplayer challenges. A character appearing in a different outfit is still the same roster identity unless an official source says otherwise. This directory therefore separates playable names from cosmetic access.

NPC residents and return roles

The Civilian players interact with non-player residents, warning them about Michael and helping them escape. NPCs can be asked to hide, accompany a player or contact police through the interaction system described by the developer.

The multiplayer overview also says a Civilian player who dies may return as a sheriff's deputy or Dr. Loomis. That is a described return opportunity, not evidence that either can always be selected in the initial Civilian roster. The exact eligibility conditions and timing are not established in the reviewed overview.

How should a new player choose a Civilian?

The developer confirms that Civilians have differing traits, stats and personalities. The reviewed sources do not establish a reliable numerical comparison or a verified best-character ranking. Character preference is therefore a reasonable starting point, but not a performance recommendation from this wiki.
